Razina Bazaar
Razina bazaar is a one of the shopping malls in Baku - Azerbaijan. I started working there in 1995 when I was only 12 years old. First I was helping dad with our small jeans shop. Then I had to work for different people to bring home extra money. I worked there from 1995 until 2001. I was:
- Translating Indian, Turkish, Russian, and Azerbaijani languages for international businessmen
- Exchanging different currencies and transferring money to different accounts each week
- Purchasing new products from different businessmen
- Selling products as wholesale or individually
- Preparing sales report daily, weekly, monthly, and annually for headquarters
- Managing four different stores throughout Baku – Azerbaijan
- Traveling across country for better products and deals
- Creating brochures and product catalogs for marketing purposes
- Conducting researches regularly to learn about customers needs, latest fashion, store decorations, and specially customer service
- Setting sales goals daily, weekly, monthly and annually
